This past summer, Red Emma's hosted, as a prelude to the 2006 Mid-Atlantic Radical Bookfair (http://www.redemmas.org/bookfair/2006), an Infoshop Gathering where representatives from dozens of autonomous community spaces across North America converged on Baltimore to share strategies and tactics, and to start building a network of mutual aid and solidarity. It's hard to start a radical space, and harder to keep one alive, so we're trying to make what resources and knowledge we have more widely available. As the summer winds down, this network is starting to crystallize - check out the new the Infoshop network website (http://infoshopnetwork.org/) which promises to develop into a great resource.
