New action and protest planning list for American anarchists
I'd to invite all interested anarchists, anti-authoritarians, libertarian leftists and other like-minded people to join a new e-mail list for planning protests and actions. If you are interested in organizing an alternative to ANSWER or would like to help re-ignite the anti-capitalist movement, this list will hopefully serve as a catalyst for new activism and dissent.

If you are interested in organizing an alternative to ANSWER or would like to help re-ignite the anti-capitalist movement, this list will hopefully serve as a catalyst for new activism and dissent.
This list is an open list, so it will focus on creating calls to action, coordinating national and local groups, developing outreach materials, setting agendas, and doing everything short of local on-the-ground organizing and implementation. If you are concerned about security, it's recommended that you subscribe to the list using a generic or anonymous email account.

The action-usa list will be for anarchists, left libertarians, anti-authoritarians, and like-minded people who are interested in re-igniting the post-Seattle protest movements. This list is for people wanting to work together to write calls to action and engage in planning and organizing. This list is not for discussion of theory or tactics, except for specific tactics for specific actions. People who subscribe to this list should agree with the "diversity of tactics" philosophy. Our list encourages people to cooperate and work together, thus people interested in sectarianism are not welcome. Action-usa is for people interested in organizing serious and fun social change.

Preliminary List Guidelines
* The following guidelines are subject to periodic change by list members *
1. This list is for action and protest planning, not discussion about theory or off topic issues. Many forums and lists already exist for those discussions.
2. Diversity of tactics is our philosophy. Discussion about tactics should be limited to specific tactics for specific actions.
3. This is an open list, so it should be assumed that spies representing the wrong people are monitoring the list. Please act accordingly.
4. This list is for anarchists, anti-authoritarians, left libertarians, libertarian leftists and similar people. People whose politics fall outside of these types will automatically be unsubscribed.
5. List volume is an unknown at this point, but if traffic grows, we recommend that people limit themselves to sending no more than 3 posts in any given day.
6. Please respect your comrades on the list. Name-calling and anti-social behavior will not be tolerated and can make you subject to list removal.
7. This is not a list for sectarian discussion about our politics.
8. Police and people who work for the state are not welcome on this list. The same goes for corporate and right wing spies.
