HELP INFOSHOP Two Weeks Until We Go Silent?

We want to thank those of you who have contributed to our Spring online fundraising drive. So far, 37 of you have donated a total of $1,294. Unfortunately, that is nowhere near the $3500 we need to raise by the end of May to continue operations. If we can't raise $3500 by June 1, we will suspend updates to the website. We aren't kidding.

We would like to be in a position where we are improving our services and bringing you news, opinion, analysis and research that can't be found anywhere else. Yet we are in a position where we can barely survive. Don't we want to see alternative media thrive and not just scrape along?

Your donation, no matter how small, will help us pay for expenses this summer. We have bills and fees to pay. It's hard to update this news service if your Internet is disconnected and your computer stops working. Chuck is in need of a new computer--his current one is 8 years old and could fail any day. We would like to pay our contributing writers and bring on new ones. We'd like to finish paying William for the web redesign he started on. These are mundane expenses for the most part, but they are essential in keeping this website running.

Other progressive websites run on budgets of tens of thousands of dollars. We are just trying to raise another $2500 in the next two weeks. Please vote with your money and support our work today.
