8 Days of Anarchy to Begin on March 14th

ANNUAL CAFE, BOOKFAIR, CONFERENCE AMONGST BAY AREA EVENTS CELEBRATING ANARCHY

"8 Days of Anarchy" will begin on Tuesday, March 14th, and will include several San Francisco events organized by people from various Bay Area anarchist communities.

The 8th Annual Anarchist Cafe will take place on Friday, March 17th, from 6:00 to midnight in San Francisco. The event will be wheelchair accessible and drug and alcohol free, with a kids space, live performers, and a vegan dinner from 6pm to 9pm. The event will benefit Critical Resistance New Orleans. CRNO's office was destroyed in last fall's hurricanes. The Builders Solidarity Network will also benefit from this event.

The 11th Annual San Francisco Anarchist Bookfair will take place on Saturday, March 18th. Speakers will include Katya Komisaruk, Bo Brown, Ward Churchill, Chaz Bufe, Michelle Tea, and others. This year, for the first time ever, there will be a families/kids space at the anarchist bookfair. There will also be drop-in childcare from 11am to 1pm. Email blackdiaperbabies at gmail.com for more info about childcare or the kids' space. Indybay will have a table at the Bookfair, with t-shirts, and more.
